NeedyMeds has information on many types of assistance for people who need help with medicine and other health care costs. In addition to patient assistance programs, we have the following resource information:

NeedyMeds Drug Discount Card
With this free card, users can save up to 80% and occasionally more on the cost of prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines and medical supplies, and pet prescription drugs purchased at a pharmacy. A free downloadable card is available. -
Disease-Based Assistance
These programs provide a wide range of assistance for the costs associated with specific diseases or medical conditions. -
Free/Low-Cost/Sliding-Scale Clinics
This is a database of more than 11,000 clinics that offer health care at no cost, for a small fee, or on a sliding scale. They are searchable by state. -
Discount Drug Cards
These are programs that allow qualified patients to obtain medicine at a discounted price and include cards issued by drug companies, state-sponsored cards, and the NeedyMeds drug discount card. -
Camps and Scholarships
A list of disease- or medical-condition-specific camps and scholarships for children and adults. -
Government Programs
Programs that are created, sponsored, and/or funded (all or in part) by state, county or local governments to assist low-income residents with medical care, prescription assistance, health insurance, etc. -
Disease Resource Pages
These are specific pages that are a one-stop shopping approach to looking for assistance. The pages include PAP information for the drugs used to treat a specific condition, as well as disease-based assistance programs, medical information, patient support links and more.
